With 67 different sessions, the Crypto Asia Summit brought plenty of content over the 5 days. Every presentation and panel was great in its own way. However, we wanted to highlight some of the sessions that really stood out in our edition of the Crypto Asia Summit Virtual Awards.
Most Valuable Speaker
The Most Valuable Speaker award goes to the person that selflessly offered the most to the summit for the attendees. This award has to go to Stephan Livera who participated in three different sessions during the virtual event. He led the fireside chat with CZ of Binance, led the ‘Bitcoin Mining And Post Halving‘ panel, and did his own presentation focused on the entry person getting into Bitcoin.
Thank you and congrats to Stephan Livera!
Most Knowledgeable & Helpful
The Most Knowledgeable & Helpful award goes to the speaker that exhibited strong knowledge and background in what they were talking about as well ability to answer questions from attendees. This was a very tough decision as all the speakers did an amazing job. We decided to award this to two speakers, Matt D’Souza and Alex Mashinsky. Both speakers did 60+ minutes, delivering such valuable content to the audience and answering many questions from them. Both presentations focused on delivering value and both speakers answered questions thoughtfully.
Best Video Presentation
The Best Video Presentation award goes to the most creative and entertaining video of the summit. We are confident most attendees would agree with us that the award definitely belongs to Max Krupyshev from Coinspaid. It is obvious they put a lot of time into the remarkable video and certainly had many of us impressed. You can check it out below.
Most Popular Speaker
With speakers like Jimmy Song, Tone Vays, and Ciara Sun, most popular speaker can easily be awarded to many speakers. However, solely based off of viewers and feedback Changpeng Zhao gets the award for Most Popular Speaker. It is no surprise as he was our featured speaker for the event. We appreciate CZ taking an hour out of his day to participate in the fireside chat with Stephan Livera.
Most Unique
At this time in the crypto industry, exchanges and funds seem to dominate at events, in the news, and most other places the crypto community is. While we are happy to host many great exchanges and funds during the summit, we want to highlight some of the great projects doing other things with blockchain. These speakers are all co-winners of the Most Unique award.
- Sergei Sergienko of Chrono.tech who is using blockchain to help freelancers get paid.
- Thomas Glucksmann of Merkle Science who is using blockchain to analyze and catch crypto criminals.
- Naohito Yoshida of Deapcoin who is using blockchain for gaming.
- Thomas Carter of Dealbox who offered us an opportunity to get our Digital Name using promo code casummit to receive a 25% discount. http://digitalnames.io/
- Dr. Steven Waterhouse of Orchid who is using blockchain to give users access to a decentralized VPN.
- Silvio Micali of Algorand who is creating a whole new blockchain protocol based on weaknesses he has found in other blockchains.
Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone involved. Stay tuned for the next event!
